If you are ready to take the plunge into the world of diving, the Open Water Diver certification with Key Dives is your best choice! Combining our legendary service, restricted class size (lower than any of our competitors), and no rush pool training (don’t forget we donate 2% to reef conservation), no other shop will get you diving like Key Dives.

The open water certification is broken down into 3 phases

Phase 1:  Academic studies – Academic studies are primarily completed online at your own pace. This allows you more free time to soak up the sunshine on your Florida vacation. When you arrive, our instructors will review the concepts you learned in a real world setting for better comprehension. With Key Dives, you can complete this via PADI or via SSI, it is your choice. Please contact us and we will help to get you registered for your online academic studies. E-learning cost: $217

Phase 2:  Pool Session – We do more than teach people how to dive, we teach them to be good divers with eco-conscious habits. We allow for a full day of pool training to get you ready for your ocean dives. We do not rush you through a half-day pool session just so you can get on the boat the same day, we want you to learn at your own pace!

Phase 3:  Ocean Dives – We will take you on our spectacular reefs for 4 certification dives where you will apply what you've learned in the pool. Includes all rental equipment, dive computer, and digital certification card. 4 students maximum per instructor. Course cost: $315 (Add $50 for a class size of 1)
